Bleach

Friday, November 24th, 2006

Bleach is a anime TV series about a young man who has to destroy hollows and free their souls so they can go to soul society, heaven. Theres been some bleach fighting games in the US and Japan but none in the UK.
This is a fighting game and moves are performed by slashing the Remote like a sword but other attacks can be done by moving the Nunchuk. An example of this is by stabbing the remote forward will make your character do a normal stab but by stabbing Remote and Nunchuck will make them do a double handed thrust. This game should be out next year.

Hero Information

Friday, November 24th, 2006

The great new game from the makers of killer7.
Gouichi Suda the man behind the great game killer7 revealed not that long ago that he was working on a Wii game called Heroes he said it would have sinister undertones and hard bolied attitutude of killer7. Hes also given more information about the game. It focuses on an organisation called the UAA which run a world network that searches for the best killers and ranks them according to who they have killed. The game features some impressive… weaponary. Helter Skelter wields a pair of two foot long magnums and arm mounted mini guns, hes main oponent Travis Touchdown hides a six foot lightsaber under hes cloak.
You dont contact the UAA, if you want to join them they contact you if your are good enough that is. This gives you the opportunity to challenge others. Your main goal is to become the worlds number one assassin.
Like in killer7 the game has a unique graphical style thats a cross between film noir and cel shading. The game will feature a number of different styles like there will be Wii remote controlled lightsaber and sword battles as well as normal adventure sections. This game is looking good and one that is deffinetly worth keeping a eye on.

N0.1 Mega Man

  • If you include the special editions there are 76 Mega Man games. the first one was called Mega Man (or Rockman if you live in Japan) it was for the NES it… came out in 1987. And the newest Mega Man game so far is Mega Man ZX on the DS.
  • Mega Man suit is known as Rock in Japan and Mega Man’s sister is called Roll this is just a joke to make there names and make you think of Rock and Roll.
  • Mega Man and Roll have appeared in many Capcom Fighting games such as Poket Fighter, Marvel Vs Capcom and Cannon Spike.
  • One of the strangest mega man games was mega man soccer it was released on the SNES only in the US and Japan. It wasnt very good.
  • In the some of the mega man games the year was 200x meaning the future. But from mega man 3 to now the year has changed to 20xx this is because 200x will be out of date in a few years time.

Added Wednesday and Thursday, 22nd and 23rd November 2006 diary entrys.
Go to my Animal Crossing Diary Page to see the rest of my Animal Crossing Diary

23rd November 2006
I didn’t do much today. I had a few letters one from… Bud another one from Kyle, I got 100 bells because I got stunk yesterday.

Nook and Go was closed today because they are expanding so I couldn’t buy or sell anything.

There was not even a single orange on any of the trees today.

I got stunk twice again. I couldn’t buy any medicine.

While I was walking around I saw a UFO for the first time ever fly pass but I didn’t have my sling shot on me so I couldn’t shoot it down. Maybe next time.

There wasn’t much to do I caught some fish and some flys, they are very hard to catch and gave some to the museum while I was there I had some Java coffee again at the Rooster cafe it was nice and refresing it even tasted better today. Also Brewster offered me a sugar cube but when I said yes I want some he said he cant because hes only got enough for him self. Very Strange.

There was no items in the lost property or in the recycling bin today.

I went to bed because there wasn’t much else to do and I had a very stunk face.

22nd November 2006
I looked at my letters I got one from Mum and one from the HRA, I didn’t do that well again. I also got a letter from Kyle he gave me 100 bells because I got stunk by bees a while back and this was the insurance money.

I talked to Coco it seems she fancys Pete the postman.

I collected and sold lots of sea shells. I found a pearl one that was worth loads.

I meet Pascal for the first time ever. He gave me a ship cannon, I have no idea where he got it from also he told me not to trust Kyle the insurance sales man. A bit too late for that he could of told me after I gave him loads of bells for insurance.

I caught lots of fish in the end I caught more than 60 fish. I sold most of them to Tom Nook and made loads of bells. Poor old Tom Nook he buys anything. I gave he some boots and tyres what I found while I was fishing, he was happy to take them of my hands. I gave some of the fish to some of the villagers and they gave me stuff in return. I caught a Horse Mackerel for Coco she gave me alarm clock in return. Also I gave some fish to the museum.

I had some Java coffee at the Rooster cafe in the museam it cost 200 bells but it woke me up. Brewster the owner of the cafe doesnt say much but he starting to say more to me if I keep on buying coffee most days he might start to talk more to me. The coffe didnt taste that great thought.

I caught some Monarch butterflies with my net. Blathers told me that they are named after the king of England he was called the King of Orange and because the butterfly’s orange they named them after him. Blatters was scared of it like always. I also caught some locusts with my net.

Its really funny seeing locusts killing themselves by running into the rivers because I’m running after them with a net trying to catch them lol.

I gave some of the insects to the museum.

A new person moved into town a duck called Freckles a cool character I think its a female duck. She likes the mornings. Some of the other characters in my town Bud and some other one similar to him are really annoying. Bud said he was moving because he had to do some sit up tournament or something but I convinced him to stay I guess I should of let him go and hopefully got a better character instead but I didn’t I convinced him to stay.

I haven’t played this game for about 2 months so when I went in my house there was lots of bugs running around inside, they didn’t last long because I killed them all by stepping on them lol.

I visited Nook and Go to see if they had anything good, I ended up buying a few things:

  • Classic Buffet Table,
  • A Men’s Toilet,
  • Enquisite Rug,
  • Alarm Clock,
  • City Scape Wall.

I bought so much that the later on Nook told me the store would be closed tomorrow because they are expanding.

I shaked all the trees and sold all the oranges for a great profit. I got stunk twice while doing this also I found all together about 1000 bells just by shaking the trees also I found some items.

I visited Booker and Copper and got some items from the lost property they don’t mind me having it.

I spent about half a hour cleaning all the weeds from the town. There was so many weeds. But while I was doing that I found two four leaved clovers. Lucky me.

I had done quite a lot and was very tired and had a stunk face so I went to bed.

Get ready to Play?

Tuesday, November 21st, 2006

Are you ready to play? No matter your gaming experience, Nintendo has just the game for you to play with your friends and family. Wii Play consists of a selection of nine very different mini-games on one game, which are designed to help you master the unique Wii Remote, whilst also providing hours of entertainment. To ensure you can enjoy Wii Play with your friends, the game comes bundled with a free Wii Remote. Wii Play launches on Nintendo’s new Wii console on the 8th December 2006.

Wii Play consists of a variety of quirky games that can be played either alone or with a friend. This includes Shooting Range, which is the first game unlocked and is reminiscent of the classic Duck Hunt (released on the NES). In order to unlock the next game the player simply needs to complete… the previous one (this sequence continues throughout). When all of the games have been unlocked players can start earning medals for their performance.

Find Mii involves picking the right face out of a crowd in an environment that constantly changes - it’s a race against the clock and each other! Pose Mii requires players to make their Mii characters fit into the shapes in the Wii bubbles. To do this they must swing the remote to the right angle to make it fit inside. The psychedelic colours and quirky graphics involved in this puzzle make it instantly addictive.

Other games included are Charge, where players have to hold onto a rampaging bull and try not to fall off! Players steer their bull and make it jump by moving the Wii Remote in the right direction, attempting to knock over scarecrows on the way. Tanks, which also makes use of the Nunchuk controller, tests a player’s strategic skills encouraging them to leave trails of mines for other tanks to stumble across.

Wii Play also features faithful recreations of real sport games demanding precision and skill with the Wii Remote. In Table Tennis players hold the Wii Remote like a bat and use it to move their on-screen character’s hand and return balls. In Fishing players cast their line with similar moves as they would in real life and then wait for a bite before jerking the remote back to hook and reel in a fish. As a pub favourite, Billiards will be an instant hit with older Wii owners. In this game, players hold the remote like the back of a snooker cue and use a smooth sliding motion to hit the cue ball. Finally Laser Hockey is a cross between air hockey and ping-pong. Gentle flicks of the wrist are picked-up by the Wii Remote making the pace of the game as relaxed or as frantic as required.

Wii Play takes simple concepts and demonstrates how much fun they can be by using the Wii’s unique control mechanism. The Wii’s unique Mii Channel also allows players to build their own customised avatar that can then star as the central character in Wii Play and other games.

Launching across Europe on 8th December 2006, every copy of Wii Play comes with a Wii Remote, at the estimated retail price of around 49 Euros (£34 in the UK).

Wii launches across Europe on 8th December at the estimated retail price of around €249 (£179 in the UK). Included with every Wii console is one wireless Wii Remote, a Nunchuk, Wii Sports game, Stereo AV Cable and the sensor bar for Wii’s unique control system.
